Oh, I remember those beautiful pre-quarantine days when I left the kids at school and could go by myself or with my hubby to a nice coffee shop to enjoy a steaming hot latte and a nice pastry! Beautiful days that now look so far to happen again.
With the longing of some sweet pastries to have with my hubby sharing a delicious cup of coffee on a hot weekend afternoon, I decided to try for the first time some scones. Yes, shame on me! I know! I have never ever bought a scone in my life, but I certainly know my keto scones taste as if heaven have opened and gifted me with scone bliss! To reach the perfect tasting scone, I tried several times until I was fully satisfied with the result.
They are so delicious! So soft on the inside, yet a little crunch on the outside. Scones are so incredible you can make them in every flavor you can imagine with all the toppings you can think of.
I'm sharing my Delicious Nutty Chocolate Chip Scones recipe today, but I also did cinnamon nuts glazed Scones, Strawberry Vanilla, orange, almond rum scones, and of course some savory garlicky scones!
Fear not! This recipe is so easy to do you just need a bowl, a baking dish and less than 30 minutes. Eat them warm... eat them cold... with ice cream or coffee or a little bit of both. No matter how you prefer your scones, this recipe will be one to keep forever!
